“She calls me sister.” We were born in different countries and come from different families, but she calls me her sister. We laugh together, cry together, have fun together and even argue now and then…just like sisters.

She views the world through a different lens than I do. Once you spend time with her and learn to interpret what her views are like, you will see that she is a very capable person.

Gabriella…she has been a wonderful gift in our family since the day she was born. She is so loving and caring. When she loves you, she loves you hard; which is what she calls it when she loves you a lot. “I love you hard.”

A few Saturdays ago while driving home listening to her favorite disco tunes, she turned to me and said, “Daddy, Saturday mornings are my favorite!” We are always singing and dancing whether we’re having a quick coffee date, taking a drive, or running errands…Saturday mornings are always the best and, with Gabriella, they are my favorite too!
