“Saturday mornings are my favorite!” 

That’s what Gabriella said to me as we made our way back home after our Saturday morning “coffee caloop”. 

Every Saturday morning “Gabrie” and I will drive to our favorite coffee shop where she is greeted by the entire staff…all of them wanting to say “Hi”, call her sweetheart, and be the one who gets to make her favorite Mango Tango frozen drink even in the dead of winter! Most days they have her order ready for her before she steps up to the window…Mango Tango with either potato chips or Reese’s cups. We’ll either sit outside at a table or drive to a special spot and enjoy our coffee date.

A few Saturdays ago while driving home listening to her favorite disco tunes, she turned to me and said, “Daddy, Saturday mornings are my favorite!” We are always singing and dancing whether we’re having a quick coffee date, taking a drive, or running errands…Saturday mornings are always the best and, with Gabriella, they are my favorite too!
