She views the world through a different lens than I do. Once you spend time with her and learn to interpret what her views are like, you will see that she is a very capable person. When you learn her likes and dislikes and the reasons she feels the way she does about different things, you will see a person who puts a lot of thought into her everyday life. She has a great sense of humor and expresses it often with such sayings as, “ I don’t have Down syndrome…I’m just tired.”
