(THE ZACH SERIES 3/4: Marco, Dad)

For Zach’s 21st birthday, we went on a boy’s trip to Las Vegas. We stayed at the Palazzo at the Venetian Resort and took full advantage of the luxurious stay. On the last night, we channeled our inner Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin and threw on our tuxedos. We cruised the strip and had a big dinner at Maggiano’s before going to the casino.

I gave Zach a roll of quarters to try his luck at the slot machine. We were so shocked when the colorful lights went off. Zach had won a few hundred dollars. When we went to cash out the casino employee was in disbelief that Zach was 21 years old. He had to show his ID to cash in on his winnings!

This was just the beginning of many more winning years in adulthood.
