Malin is very thoughtful, kind, funny, and nice. We’ve known each other for a very long time and our moms are best friends.

I’ve been watching her since she was a month old. I have seen her blossom into a beautiful little girl. She’s very loving, caring, funny, and gives the best hugs. I introduced her to painting.

Malin as a baby and toddler was quite shy and careful about taking on new challenges, trying new things…I wanted her to learn how to swim and took her to the pool when she was about 3 years old. She was horrified by water and would not come back to try it again for years. Not till we went for a winter vacation to St. Martin where tropical weather, a relaxing atmosphere, and a huge pool next to our hotel were very inviting to jump in.

Today she is a smart, confident, loving, and funny 9-year-old who is not afraid to take on any challenge. She might be hesitant for a moment so I whisper in her ear, “Do your best!” and she says, “Yes Mom, I will do my best!” And off she goes to show the whole world she can!
