I love him. When I got in trouble the other day Asher made me feel better. He let me ride the four wheeler. Then we went inside and got a popsicle.

When we were halfway to the top of the hill Asher said he was too tired and so I decided to give him a piggyback ride.

I always tell people that Asher has changed my life in ways that no other person ever could. I thank God every day for the challenges, joy and the smiles.

Some giggles erupt because if you know Asher (the kid has never met a stranger) you know that he has a lot of great one liners for a 6 year old. Father Mark doesn’t miss a beat and quickly responds with “Amen Asher!”. Sage advice from that little man. I would follow up with ‘Love thy neighbor as thyself’.
