"I SAY YES. Three simple words that changed the culture and climate of a campus, a community, a state and a nation. Ronnie Brown coined this phrase and it quickly became a defining moment for the Unified Champions program at Hendrickson High School. Unified Champion Schools is a Special Olympics program that promotes and encourages inclusion of EVERYONE on a school campus beyond the scope of just sports.

When different events happened on campus, students would come and ask if we could make the event unified and the answer was immediately, I SAY YES! This ‘I Say Yes’ movement led to Hendrickson earning and being recognized as one of the top five most inclusive schools in the nation by ESPN and Special Olympics North America. Ronnie’s motto of these three little words have been monumental and continue to spread like wildfire in our district, community and throughout the state of Texas. Let’s enthusiastically unite with Ronnie and proclaim his ‘I Say Yes’ mantra, joining a generation of including ALL!"
