(THE BRIANNA SERIES 3/12: Juan/Dad)

I call her my “La niña de mis ojos.” I remember when she was having some medical complications and the doctors prescribed a medication I was unfamiliar with. Normally I do not like to read, but for my Bria I will do anything! So I read, and read and read and researched and found there were other more natural ways to help her starting with her diet. I learned it would be helpful for her to eat certain foods so I made them. I made her vegetable soup, and special juices, day after day. She ate them and it helped. She never did need to take this certain medication. Bria, my La niña de mis ojos, reminds me everyday, even on the hard days, to embrace and enjoy the time we have together. I am so blessed to be her dad.
